This structural detail shows a reinforced concrete equipment pit with a variable depth and width. The pit edges are detailed with continuous galvanized L3x3x1/4 angles anchored by half-inch diameter by four-inch welded studs spaced at twelve inches on center all around. The concrete walls and slab are reinforced with number four dowels at twelve inches on center typical on two sides, along with number four horizontal bars with corner bars and number four bars at twelve inches on center each way centered in the slab. Six-inch thick walls and base slab dimensions are indicated, requiring field verification of pit dimensions with purchased equipment.
