The beam web connects via a shear tab welded to the column flange and bolted to the beam web, with bolt sizes and counts sized per the structural schedule and plan. Additional web plates and continuity plates are provided per standard details and AISC specifications. Fillet welds attach the shear tab to the column flange, sized per schedule with a one-sixteenth inch addition. Clearances and "k1" dimensions adhere strictly to AISC specifications.
