A Unistrut P1000 channel measuring one foot eight inches is fastened to the low deck flute of a concrete fill metal deck using two three-eighths-inch Hilti KBTZ anchors with three-and-a-quarter-inch embedment. Fastener SPF-401 secures to the Unistrut using a one-half-inch diameter channel nut typically. Structural steel beams sized per plan support a P5000 Unistrut channel attached via P2786 Unistrut beam clamps. A P1000T Unistrut member with cradle clips spaced at twelve inches supports the lighting pipe using a J1220 Unistrut pipe hanger or equivalent, connected via a one-half-inch threaded rod at pipe ends spanning a maximum of eight feet. Three-sixteenths-inch diameter seven-by-nineteen aircraft cables with SPF-401 fittings at each end brace the assembly diagonally back to the deck-mounted Unistrut anchors and are installed hand taut with no slack.
