A steel beam supports the metal roof deck with attachment of steel studs provided by the supplier. A three-eighths by eight-inch plate with variable height uses two three-quarters-inch A325 bolts in one-inch vertical slots at four-inch gauge at two feet zero inches spacing. An L3x3x1/4 brace connects at each beam with a three-eighths by five-inch square gusset plate and quarter-inch fillet welds.
