The stair tread is supported by a clip angle attached to the back of a channel stringer. The clip angle is welded to the channel on both the near side and far side. The working point is located four inches from the back of the channel at the top of the flooring elevation. The tread assembly includes a one-inch nosing dimension relative to the stringer alignment.
