The assembly features a hollow structural section (HSS) stair stringer connected to a steel beam via bent plates, end plates, and welded connections. A steel plate (PL 1/2 x 7 x 1'-3 1/2") ties into the steel beam web, and 5/16-inch welds are specified throughout the connection details. The stair stringer supports a formed stair profile interfacing with a concrete slab on metal deck.
