Steel columns and beams support a profiled steel roof deck with welded connections. A deck bearing angle, specified as an L5x3x1/4 with the toe down, is welded to the beam web. Vertical sleeve plates measuring 8 inches by 3/8 inch by 4 inches are attached to each side with welds. Additional structural elements include welded connections, complete joint penetration welds, and diagonal bracing plates with bolted gusset connections.
