A reinforced concrete stem wall bears upon a continuous concrete footing with two inches of grout beneath the stem wall. The stem wall is reinforced with two continuous number five bars at the top and bottom, vertical number four bars at twelve inches on center each face, and number three stirrups at eight inches on center. A concrete slab connects to the stem wall via number four slab dowels per the foundation plan and three continuous number four bars, featuring a three-foot lap splice. A pour strip is located adjacent to the storefront, with slope per architectural drawings and panel-to-slab dowels sized per the foundation plan and panel dowel schedule. Finished grade consists of asphalt concrete paving or a concrete slab verified with civil drawings.
