A built-up steel beam frames into a concrete wall utilizing an embed plate connection. The beam web connects with bolts to a plate assembly anchored into the concrete wall with stud anchors and reinforcing bars. Two number 8 bars at twelve feet zero inches extend into the concrete alongside six number 6 bars. A three-eighths-inch fillet weld secures the embedded steel components.
