A horizontal construction pour joint in a concrete wall features a one-and-a-half-inch offset. The interface requires roughening and cleaning before subsequent placement. Vertical reinforcement continues through the joint, while horizontal reinforcement is placed where required with a three-eighths-inch minimum clearance. A cleanout is required at the vertical reinforcement when the pour height exceeds five feet.
