Concrete beam framing into another concrete member requires specific top and bottom reinforcing steel sizing per the structural table. The top beam reinforcing features a standard hook extending into the intersecting member, while bottom beam reinforcing is provided per table and plan requirements. Typical concrete cover of one and one-half inches is maintained throughout the assembly. Beam dimensions and reinforcing schedules are sized per plan.
