A pipe penetration passes through a concrete wall footing using a metal sleeve with a diameter equal to the pipe diameter plus two inches. A collar is provided around the pipe to keep dirt out of the sleeve. The installation requires a minimum clearance between adjacent pipe sleeves of three and a half inches or three times the pipe diameter, whichever is greater. The general contractor is responsible for coordinating the exact depth and location of the pipe, with dimension "D" not to exceed eight inches.
