Roof-mounted HVAC equipment must be designed per section 23 05 48.19 with the manufacturer curb attached directly to the structural steel framing. Coordinate the exact location of the curb support steel with the equipment manufacturer, allowing for a two-inch plus-or-minus tolerance coordinate location. A W10x12 beam is located below the equipment and must be coordinated with the equipment manufacturer.
