Vertical hanger wire and support wire attach to the bottom chord of an existing steel bar joist. Saddle ties wrap around the joist bottom chord with a double loop at the support, positioned within six inches maximum of a web member. Hanger wires feature three tight turns and bracing wires feature four tight turns. Splay wires run parallel to the joist only and cannot be perpendicular. Maximum load per hanger is fifty pounds.
