A structural concrete slab on metal deck bears on structural steel framing at the building perimeter. A continuous L5x5x3/8 angle spaced at a maximum of ten feet on center aligns with the beam on the opposite side and connects with a quarter-inch fillet weld on two sides. The concrete slab features continuous number four reinforcing bars, number three reinforcing bars at twelve inches on center, and a twelve-gauge continuous edge form. The edge beam and interior beam sizes are sized per plan with a two-inch minimum clearance.
