The stair stringer connects to the concrete slab per plan using an L3x3x3/8 angle measuring 6-1/2 inches long. A three-sided 3/16-inch fillet weld secures the angle to the stringer. Two 1/2-inch diameter by 4-inch countersunk anchor bolts fasten the angle to the concrete slab through long slotted holes to allow for movement.
