Continuous standard horizontal bridging consists of a 1-1/2 by 1-1/2 by 1/4 inch angle secured at the intersection with a bolt. Gusset plates measuring 1/4 inch thick are used typically at the framing connections. The crossing angles are fastened together where they intersect between the main structural supports.
