An L3 1/2x3 1/2x3/8 ledger angle is anchored to the edge of an existing slab on metal deck and supported by a wide flange column assembly. The horizontal leg of the angle aligns with the top of the slab and is secured using 1/2-inch diameter by 3-inch nominal embedment concrete screws spaced at 12 inches on center. An existing concrete curb is indicated for removal with a smooth cut edge per architectural drawings.
