An existing sixteen-inch perimeter pipe beam connects to a structural beam sized per plans via a three-eighths-inch continuous plate. A three-sixteenths-inch fillet weld secures the continuous plate to the top flange of the structural beam. An existing Kalwall system frames adjacent to the perimeter pipe beam at the roof edge.
