A formed concrete curb rises from a structural interior concrete slab cast over a prepared subgrade. The curb features a continuous horizontal number three reinforcing bar near the top and is doweled into the main slab with number three dowels spaced at eighteen inches on center with alternate hooks. Typical slab reinforcement and slab thickness are sized per plan. The top of the curb requires a minimum width of four inches with a maximum width of ten inches, and a height dimension as coordinated with architecture.
