An L3x3 angle reinforcing member is welded to a wide flange beam flange to resolve a structural conflict. A three-sixteenths inch fillet weld secures the reinforcing angle. Concrete-filled cores at an eighteen-inch maximum spacing are coordinated above the steel deck. Shear studs anchor the steel deck to the supporting framing.
