Cold-formed metal framing connects to a concrete-filled metal deck for both parallel and perpendicular flute orientations. A fifty-four mil continuous track with a one-and-a-half-inch deep flange connects to hanging metal studs sized per plan with number ten sheet metal screws on each side at each stud. At concrete and metal decks, attachment utilizes two zero-point-one-five-seven-inch diameter Hilti X-U powder-actuated fasteners with a one-and-a-half-inch embedment, totaling four fasteners at metal deck only configurations using number ten sheet metal screws. Perpendicular to flutes, connections are made using zero-point-one-five-seven-inch diameter Hilti X-U fasteners with a one-and-a-quarter-inch embedment at twelve inches on center maximum, or number ten sheet metal screws at twelve inches on center for metal deck only conditions. Furring channels at one hundred fifty F one twenty-five dash fifty-four are spaced at two feet on center where indicated.
