This structural steel connection joins the web of a supported beam to a supporting member or adjacent beam using a vertical shear tab plate. The shear tab plate is welded to the support with a fillet weld designated as F and secured to the supported beam web with four high-strength bolts in a vertical row. A vertical centerline indicates alignment and joint separation between the two structural steel members.
