A concrete housekeeping pad sits atop a standard slab on grade with a maximum height of eight inches. The slab is reinforced with number four bars at twelve inches on center each way, transitioning into the pad with a typical lap splice. The perimeter of the pad features number four bars at twenty-four inches on center. Contractors may optionally drill and epoxy dowels with four inches of embedment.
