Continuity plates are placed on both sides of the column web and sized based on the beam flanges. The assembly includes optional fillet welds and corner preparations typical at the flange and web connections. Dimensions follow AISC standards for 'k' and 'k1' distances. A cope is provided at the continuity plate with no weld at the web.
