The assembly features a hollow structural section wind girt supporting exterior metal stud framing with a horizontal drift joint in the skin. A continuous L3x3x1/4 angle welded with a quarter-inch fillet weld at twelve-inch spacing connects the framing components. A bent plate per detail 7/SE601 bridges the concrete over metal deck floor slab to the exterior wall. A steel beam supports the floor slab where it occurs, featuring a bolted connection to the wind girt. A drift track connection accommodates vertical deflection and wind or seismic drifts noted in the general structural notes.
