A structural steel davit socket pedestal is mounted atop a W12x26 beam and column framing assembly sized per plan. The supporting beam connects to the column with a moment connection at each end, welded with a three-eighths inch fillet weld. An L8x4x1/2 angle with long legs vertical provides additional framing support. The assembly integrates a davit socket pedestal for maintenance equipment support.
