A drag beam connects to a column and another beam utilizing slip-critical bolts. Horizontal short slotted holes occur at the upper two bolts and horizontal long slotted holes at the remaining bolt locations. A maximum three-quarter-inch clearance is maintained at the column face. Weld access holes and specific connection types with slip-critical bolts are specified as indicated in the notes and accompanying details.
