A structural kicker brace connects to the web of a wide flange beam using a L3x3x12-gauge clip angle secured with three #12 screws. The kicker maintains a maximum distance of 2 inches from the underside of the deck, with a 1-inch minimum clearance requirement. A note references detail 8/S0.92 for the continuation of the kicker connection to the deck.
