A heavy steel base plate measuring sixty-four millimeters in thickness and fabricated from Grade 550 steel is supported by a 1020 by 900 millimeter concrete pilaster with a compressive strength of 50 MPa. The assembly is secured by ten 36M Dywidag Threadbar anchors of Grade 75 steel, which are specified not to be torqued. Shear lugs measuring 64 millimeters thick in Grade 550 steel extend through shear lug openings into the concrete below to transfer lateral loads.
