A steel beam connects to the web of a supporting steel beam using a full-depth web plate and bolted connections. The framing supports a concrete over metal floor deck topped with headed stud anchors welded through the deck to the supporting beam flange. The supported beam is coped as required to align with the top flange of the supporting member.
