This structural steel connection utilizes outside flange plates of thickness t2 at the top and bottom, secured with multiple bolts spanning across the flange width. A web plate of thickness t1 is bolted to the vertical web with a typical one and one-half inch spacing as noted in the structural drawings. The assembly aligns symmetrically along the center line of the chord.
