An interior insulated metal panel wall connects to a steel roof deck and steel roof joists along a grid line separating a warmer side and a colder side. A 12-gauge continuous bent plate secures to the steel roof deck with one number 10 self-drilling screw at 12 inches on center, while the panel connection is provided by the panel supplier. A 14-gauge continuous bent plate fastens to the top of the insulated metal panel wall with four 0.157-inch diameter powder-actuated fasteners at each joist. The insulated metal panel is sized per architectural drawings.
