A reinforced concrete core wall plan contains multiple pilasters. Each pilaster is anchored by twelve to fourteen three-inch diameter Dywidag anchors with a yield strength of one hundred twenty kilopounds per square inch. Vertical reinforcement consists of sixteen number ten bars of American Society for Testing and Materials A706 Grade eighty steel in the pilasters and eighteen number nine bars in the wall segments. Shear reinforcement is provided by number five tie sets spaced at five inches on center using American Society for Testing and Materials A615 Grade sixty or eighty steel. Individual bars terminate with headed bars or ninety-degree hooks bent as needed.
