A non-frame pipe column or hollow structural section tube sits atop a steel base plate set over non-shrink grout. Anchor bolts with double nuts and hardened washers secure the base plate to the concrete pile cap or pilaster. Embedded anchor bolts feature square plate washers at their lower ends for anchorage. Number four ties spaced at six inches with a minimum of three ties are provided at the pile cap.
