Top and bottom reinforcement bars are shown lapping with specified development lengths designated as 'Ld' or twelve times the bar diameter with a twelve-inch minimum. Bars are wired in contact or spaced with a maximum one-and-one-half-inch clear distance. Column and boundary elements follow corresponding vertical offset profiles.
