Steel roof trusses bear on a steel column and are connected with a five-sixteenth-inch by four-inch by nine-inch plate or a five-sixteenth-inch bent plate per roof slope. A three-eighths-inch by four-inch by eleven-inch plate is placed at the bent plate per roof slope. Three-by wood nailers are attached above the framing. Fillet welds of one-quarter-inch and one-eighth-inch sizes with one-and-a-half-inch spacing are specified for the connection assembly.
