Metal deck flutes are oriented perpendicular to a wide flange beam per plan, accommodating a depression depth greater than 4 inches. Continuous reinforcing consists of two number 4 bars with standard 90-degree hooks terminating at the depression edge. A continuous 4x4x3/8 inch angle with vertical leg positioned up or down is provided. A minimum bearing of 2 inches is maintained typical, with a fillet weld size of 3/16 inch spaced at 12 inches typical.
