A structural steel framing assembly for a mechanical screen anchors to a W18 wide flange beam at the base with a half-inch stiffener plate below each side of the hollow structural section. The assembly transitions vertically through HSS10x10 and HSS10x8 members connected via half-inch cap plates, clip angles such as L5x5x1/2 and L5x3x1/2 by eight inches long, and pairs of seven-eighth-inch diameter A490 bolts. A heavy flanged base connection utilizes two one-and-a-half-inch by eleven-inch by one-foot-four-inch Grade 50 plates secured with four one-and-one-eighth-inch diameter A490 bolts. Fillet welds of one-quarter-inch size are detailed throughout the structural steel connections. Elevation markers indicate top of steel levels ranging from forty-seven feet six inches to fifty-eight feet.
