Galvanized cold-formed purlins connect to a supporting W beam sized per framing plan. A galvanized cold-formed splice channel bridges the purlin joint with four five-eighths inch diameter machine bolts configured in a specific layout. Two five-eighths inch diameter machine bolts secure each purlin to the top flange of the W beam.
