An elevator guiderail post bears on a base plate atop a concrete pit wall and adjacent slab on grade. The steel base plate is secured with anchor bolts embedded into the concrete structure per plan. Reinforcing steel is detailed within the concrete pit wall and slab intersection. Additional connection details are referenced on sheet S7.01.
