A precast concrete wall panel connection features a vertical reinforcement lap splice with a three-foot lap length and a two-inch offset. The assembly includes number five reinforcing bars spaced at ten inches on center each way, supplemented by additional bars sized and spaced the same as the vertical bars. Horizontal reinforcement consists of four number five continuous bars with standard ninety-degree hooks extending per detail twelve on sheet SD.one. A wall recess is detailed per panel elevations.
