An HSS6x4x3/8 separator beam frames into a half-inch embed plate secured to a concrete elevator pit wall. The connection utilizes an L8x6x1/2 angle welded with a quarter-inch fillet weld and a three-inch minimum dimension. Two three-quarter-inch diameter welded studs anchor the embed plate into the concrete wall.
