Steel beams frame into a steel column and a beam-to-beam connection with a full-height stiffener using single shear plates and bolted connections. The single plates attach the steel beams to the support elements with specific vertical bolt spacings and edge distances. A one-inch clearance is maintained between the framing beam and the column flange or stiffener plate.
