A structural support assembly carries a folding partition track below a roof system. Steel beams span beneath the roof deck, which features partial joint penetration welds typical at structural connections. Hollow structural section tubes sized HSS3x3x3/8 are positioned on the structural steel framing per plan. A dedicated steel beam for the folding partition is suspended below the framing with a seven-inch minimum clearance. Steel hanger rods and locking flange nuts provided by the supplier attach to a folding partition bracket.
