Steel floor beams connect to opposite sides of a wide flange column flange. The beam flanges feature complete joint penetration welds directly to the column flange. The beam webs attach using bolted shear tabs with four and three bolt configurations. Incoming framing perpendicular to the connection is omitted for clarity. Additional connection design requirements are referenced on sheet C4.
