An 8-inch concrete masonry unit wall termination is reinforced with a minimum of two number four vertical jamb bars sized per plan. A horizontal reinforcing bar with a standard 180-degree hook anchors within the grouted cell. The masonry units and grout fill form the solid end configuration.
