A beam per plan connects to a hollow structural section column sized per elevation. A WT7x24x0'-9" member serves as the support bracket, welded to the column with three-sixteenth-inch fillet welds. A half-inch by six-inch by zero-foot-nine-inch plate connects to the assembly using two one-inch diameter A490-PT-STD bolts. One-quarter-inch fillet welds secure the upper beam connection. Typical one-quarter-inch stiffener plates are welded with three-sixteenth-inch welds.
