An HSS6x4x1/4 partial height wall post is welded to a 3/4 inch by 6 inch by 0 feet 10 inch steel base plate with a 1/4 inch fillet weld. The assembly bears on a 1 inch layer of non-shrink grout above the top of the concrete slab. Four 1/2 inch diameter Hilti Kwik TZ-2 anchor bolts with a 2 1/2 inch embedment secure the base plate to the concrete.
