A precast concrete wall panel connects to a concrete wall via a three-eighths-inch by three-inch by zero-foot-six-inch embed plate welded with two five-eighths-inch diameter by seven-inch headed studs spaced at three inches on center. A proprietary precast connection per the manufacturer links the panel to the concrete embed. Design loads for the precast panel include a maximum dead load of one point zero four kips, a maximum wind load of plus or minus zero point three zero kips, and a maximum earthquake load of plus or minus zero point five eight kips. Edge distances require a three-inch minimum and one-and-a-half-inch typical clearance.
